1. Operational optimization (involving rigorous steady state simulation studies) and identification of opportunities for quick wins and profit improvement without or with minimum capital outlay

2. Trouble shooting of process plants to resolve chronic problem of plants

3. Yield and energy optimization studies involving the following:

  • Rigorous simulation studies of process plants to arrive at the best alternative for profit maximization with no or minimum capital deployment.
  • Development of process schemes (including P&ID, datasheets) required for optimization of intermediate products and finished product yields and overall economics.
  • Development of process schemes required for optimization of energy, like heat exchanger train optimization, reuse of very low temperature heat, overhead heat coupling, multi effect distillation and thermally cascaded distillation schemes to improve overall energy efficiency and economics.
  • Lowering of fuel and loss to the minimum levels for profit maximization.

4. Capacity augmentation / debottlenecking studies of open art process units and open art section of licensed units.

5. Run length improvement of process plants/ refinery.

6. Identify changes required to incorporate to handle cheaper feeds for reducing input cost and further enhancement of profitability.
